Biggest Challenges Faced By A Comedy Talent Manager At Framework Entertainment
As a Comedy Talent Manager, Rachel from Framework Entertainment finds that the biggest challenge in the role is the "amount of patience" required when clients don't achieve the expected success, often leading to difficult decisions about whether to continue working together, because sometimes "the trajectory is not going, you know, as, as kind kind of quickly as" expected. Rachel notes that patience is an essential skill in the entertainment industry.

What is your biggest challenge in your role?
That's a great question. I think the amount of patience is probably the biggest challenge.
Sometimes clients don't get the traction that you think they might. It becomes a challenge of whether we continue working together and what the next step is.
There have been people we've parted ways with because the trajectory isn't moving as quickly as I might have expected. So, I'd say patience is the biggest challenge.
It's also definitely a skill that you need to have in this industry.
