What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?

In undergrad, I majored in political science, which is a typical pre-law major. But I took almost every discipline at Berkeley that I had any interest in, like psychology, Shakespeare, and classics.

I think as a lawyer, you'll get a certain discipline from law school. So you want to get a wide variety of classes that interest you and things that you'll be interested in throughout your life.

You need to be able to write as a lawyer. If you take social science classes, you'll be writing papers and exams, and that's very important. You'll refine those skills as you become a lawyer.

So, anything in social science is valuable. In fact, law schools will let people in with almost any majors.
