What are your main responsibilities within your current role?

Sure, I would say there are a couple of different routes here. As a partner, we work directly with our clients for whom we are building software platforms. A fair amount of them we also invest in.

My responsibilities are twofold. Within Hyperspace, the partners are in charge of the hiring process and bringing in new talent. We manage that talent once they are within Hyperspace.

This involves working directly with product managers and engineers as we address different clients' needs and build out their platforms. Within Hyperspace, my responsibilities are primarily managing the team, whether that be through weekly meetings, working with engineers to guide product strategy, or handling more mundane tasks.

These include things like payroll, tax management, and everything else required of a small business owner. The flip side is working directly with the clients.

The partners are very involved in managing their road mapping, whatever their product may be. We work with them to ensure we get their product to market successfully and position it for future success.

So, there's the responsibility of working with the people within the company and managing the day-to-day operations required as a business owner. And then, outside of that, working on client relations to make sure.
