What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?

One of the nicest things about consulting is that you get to experience a wide variety of different industries. One moment, your client might be in the CPG space, the consumer package goods space.

Another might be in financial services, and the next day you might be dealing with something in high-tech. For someone that may not have a definite interest in one area, or in one specific industry, being able to try a bunch of different things out and figure out what you like and don't like gives you a lot more direction.

This helps in terms of where you want to go long-term with your career. I can't say with certainty that there is an industry out there that I'm heads over heels for compared to other industries.

But consulting has allowed me to work in most industries in some capacity at this point. So while I don't know what I like yet, I do have an idea of some of the ones that I'm maybe not as interested in.
