Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Did you have any internships or jobs before your current role?
For sure. In college, I majored in finance. During that time, I completed a couple of internships, ranging from investment banking to private equity at Metric Capital.
I really enjoyed learning more about the financial markets and finance as a whole. So, when it came time to graduate, I spent a little time working in investment banking.
I decided that environment wasn't really for me. I loved the work and professional services, and working with clients, but I didn't see that lifestyle of working those hours as something I wanted to do long-term.
So, I pivoted and switched over to Mercer, which is human capital consulting. I spent about three years there and really enjoyed my time.
Then, I decided I wanted to make another pivot. I moved to LA and started my MBA. This past summer, I interned with L.E.K. Consulting, part of their strategy consulting practice.
I'll be returning with them full-time after I graduate.
