What does the day in the life of a managing director and founder look like?

Because it's my business, there are many different parts to play, so there's no typical day job. The day job does split into two areas.

One area is client-facing, which involves generating business, closing business, and training design and delivery. The other area is office-based.

Office-based work includes working with the team and ensuring they are happy, as well as client liaison, design creation, and business development. So, there are probably two bits that happen in the office and two bits that happen out of the office.
