What does a day in the life of a project manager look like?

That's a good question. What I really enjoyed about my role was that we didn't have a set day-to-day schedule. Every day was very different, based on the project we were working on and where we were in that project phase.

For example, if the client had just been brought on and handed over to the project management team, that process involved a lot of meetings. There were meetings with the client and internal meetings to figure out what was required for the project to be successful and what the deliverables needed to be.

Then, if the project moved to the implementation phase, that could involve more meetings coordinating with contractors and working with different teams to coordinate all the work. It could even mean being on-site to oversee and manage the work.

This role also involved a lot of travel, going to team facilities. But what I loved was that each day had very different responsibilities.
