How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?

I've found that people who work in footwear are the most diverse group of people I've ever worked with, which has been fantastic. The people are so expressive, creative, and outgoing. They're stylish and interesting.

I'll walk into the office and think, "You people could be on the cover of Vogue," while I'm just in my boring gray sweater. Footwear tends to attract these really creative, amazing people, so that's been fun.

More specifically in PR, I find that very extroverted people tend to gravitate towards PR work and really thrive in those fields. Again, you work with so many different sorts of people, so having an inherently extroverted nature will really help you in your job.
