What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?

One piece of advice is to embrace what makes you different. I think a lot of times, when we enter the workforce after school, we feel like we just have to fit in. We might think, "I just need to do what I'm told, perform my role, and show up like everyone else."

You might also feel pressure to learn about topics everyone else is discussing. However, in my experience, anything that has made me successful has come from embracing what makes me unique, not what makes me like everyone else.

Let whatever makes you, *you*, shine through a thousand percent. Don't feel like you have to dress a certain way or participate in activities just because others do. For example, I never played golf, and I'm perfectly fine. It’s about figuring out the things that are unique to you.
