I would say that writing is probably the most important skill in any PR role. Second to that, proofreading and editing are also crucial.
You also have to be dedicated. I think that's probably one of the most underrated skill sets in people.
It's more of a characteristic than a skill: you have to have sound judgment and be able to keep your cool under pressure, especially during crisis communications. But yes, definitely writing is the most important skill to have.
