What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
My undergraduate experience wasn't directly correlated to what I do now. However, some common themes exist: working hard to figure out complex problems, whether in economics or political science. It's about understanding hard work and how to find answers.
It's also about being able to think critically, ask questions, and give your maximum effort in whatever you do. Showing up isn't enough. You have to show up and put your best effort in, and that will work out or pay off for you.
Finally, it's important to make connections and keep in touch with as many people as possible. I wouldn't be sitting here if it weren't for the connections I made at Webco and the reputation I built for myself there. Keep in touch with people, make connections, leave good impressions, and you'll be fine.
