What are your main responsibilities within your current role?

Currently, I lead an analytics team within corporate strategy at a financial services company. Primarily, we are tasked with providing c-suite leaders with insights and updates around strategic investments they've made.

This involves helping them decide where to allocate investments and which technologies or initiatives to pursue. We also track progress on these investments and derive insights from the analytics.

Secondarily, we function as an analytics consulting shop for the broader enterprise. We collaborate with other business units to develop data visualization, data engineering, or data science solutions, and conduct hypothesis testing.

We also own customer journey analytics. This provides insights and dashboards to help business units and product teams better understand customer journeys, whether for servicing or purchasing products. This allows them to identify points of pain or opportunities for improvement.
