Transcript

What does a day in the life of an analytics executive look like?

There are a fair amount of meetings, as you would expect in any senior leadership role. For analytics specifically, it involves understanding what your stakeholders need from an analytics perspective and keeping them updated on project progress.

Then, you go back to your team to communicate what you've heard from clients and what they need. This means translating those needs into technical requirements and solutions.

Beyond that, from a longer-term standpoint, you develop and update your roadmap, your vision for where you're headed, and when you expect initiatives to be completed. You set a broader vision for where you want to go.

Along with that, you establish key objectives you want to achieve and how you'll measure them.
