Q8: Who thrives in industry?
How would you describe the people who typically thrive in this industry?
Ultimately, those who thrive in this industry enjoy being adaptable. As I mentioned, those roles are very dynamic.
More than that, if you enjoy collaborating and building close relationships, and solving challenges, whether they be small individual challenges or big company-wide challenges. If you like figuring out how to adapt and collaborate in a way that brings impact to the entire team, I think a person would excel in this industry for that reason.
What I've observed is the best enablers don't just execute. They instead anticipate roadblocks and design solutions. You have to be on the ground in the nitty-gritty day-to-day, but also understand and future-proof projects where there may be problems.
You get this beautiful opportunity to focus on execution day-to-day, but then always remember to zoom out and predict and plan for the future. This allows you to guide and navigate the sales reps, the sales team, and ultimately the company.
So, if you can look at problems in that way and then build trust and influence so that people adopt your ideas, I think you'll really enjoy the dynamic nature of this industry.
