In college, I tried to get myself out of my comfort zone. I got involved in many leadership activities, such as signing up as a teaching assistant for my economics professor.
I also decided to run for elections at an international student body club called the Coalition of International Students. Through this opportunity, I was able to communicate with so many people from different countries and cultures.
I was able to improve my communication and leadership skills. So, I would say try to get out of your comfort zone. Don't hesitate to try new things because, in the end, you are improving yourself as a person, both professionally and personally.
