What have you learned about this role that you wish someone had told you before you entered the industry?
I think, if we're talking about startup small companies in general, I would say being a little bit more confident about your own abilities. I was a pretty new undergraduate worker and such; I was not as confident as maybe I should have been.
I think it helps a lot to have some conviction and stand behind your analysis or your ideas. Of course, you want feedback and you want to ask your boss, but it helps a lot to come in with some confidence and strength behind your ideas.
