What does a day in the life of an institutional account manager look like?
It's different every day, but some of the consistencies include scheduled calls. These can be with clients, giving them a demo of our institutional platform or walking them through a new product feature.
It could also be a deep dive with a client about a specific feature, like lending, financing, or staking. We also have many internal calls, such as syncing with the account managers and salespeople on my team.
Additionally, there are syncs across different cross-functional partners. We coordinate with our product, engineering, onboarding, or legal teams to ensure everyone is on the same page.
The second part of my role, besides calls, is responding to client inquiries. My role often involves being inundated with requests from clients via email, Slack, Telegram, or other platforms.
I run through all inbound inquiries, prioritizing which clients are most important or which requests are most urgent, and then respond to all of them.
