What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate college student might consider?

The real estate and facilities function includes a wide variety of skill sets. We have finance, real estate, construction, design, and operations people.

We try to cross-develop people once they join. You can enter this field through any of those channels. Once you're in, there are opportunities to broaden your skillset by moving within that function.

For example, we recently recruited a new college grad. When we opened the job description, we were very general about the experience we were looking for. Someone with a construction degree would be okay, as would someone with a finance or design degree.

Once they come in, they can start doing that work and then get exposed to all the different aspects. This allows them to grow their career very broadly. There are lots of different channels to get in.
