How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?

Going back, because there are so many things you can do in this field, the more you can get to your focus, what you actually want to focus on, your lane, it can be on activism. It can be the political side. It can be working with a certain type of energy source.

It can just be building bridges. It can be a particular trade, a skill. Maybe you're a coder and you want to do environmental work. Maybe you're a construction worker and you want to learn more about green standards.

Knowing your lane as soon as you can, but without being closed off to other solutions, finding that balance – those are the people I've seen have the most success.
