What does the day in the life of a community ambassador and partnerships manager look like?
At its core, it's a lot of scheduling to start. The community outreach I do with the American Conservation Coalition is mainly based out of the Washington D.C. metro area, so the U.S. East Coast.
Taryn Industries is based out of Australia, roughly 15 hours ahead. This means there's a lot of overlap towards the end of the day. So, figuring out what events to attend or table at with the ACC, and when to meet up with our partners at Taryn is key.
A lot of organization goes into making sure we're not double-booked. Once everything is organized and set up, we know where to go. With Taryn specifically, we have files and other items to organize on the backend.
We work with over 30 partners, so having that set up to know which avenue we're working with, and when to meet, is a lot of organization on the backend. Then, of course, there are the actual events themselves. This could be anything from going to a farmer's market or a happy hour to larger community events. It's a real range of what's available.
