Biggest Challenges Faced By A Community Partnerships Manager At Terran Industries Environmental Non-Profit
Mike's biggest challenge as Community Ambassador/Partnerships Manager is balancing work with two geographically distant organizations addressing different environmental issues, deciding "what hat to wear" and finding ways to "connect all the groups" for maximum impact. This duality presents both a significant hurdle and a unique opportunity to foster collaboration across diverse environmental initiatives.

What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
The climate space and anything to do with the environment is huge, absolutely massive. The two organizations I work with, which we're talking about today, are on different ends of the globe.
They cover pretty different topics, but there's still room for overlap. Deciding what hat to wear, where you are, who you're talking to, and if you could actually wear both at the same time, kind of promote two things or find one partner you can work with on both ends – that's the biggest challenge.
It's also one of the coolest things. The more we connect, the more we can connect all the groups in these spaces. Hopefully, the more that'll get done.
