Transcript
How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
Definitely detail-oriented, organized people who are thoughtful team players and willing to pitch in, no matter if it's their job or not.
I also think that if you are interested in HR people ops, you have to be comfortable working behind the scenes. It is an operations role, which means a lot of the work you're doing is not necessarily front-facing.
You're not working on the product that's going out to the world, or you're not working on something with a client. Some people don't like that; some people really want to be working on the thing that's going out to the world. You have to be really interested in the operational side of things.
