What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I think I enjoy the impact it has on employee experience. A lot of programs in HR, people ops fields, can seem unappealing on the surface.
People might think writing a performance review, for example, involves work that isn't appealing when they're busy. But when those pieces are done, like completing the performance review or the engagement survey, it really helps the overall company experience.
You can see that based on how happy and engaged people are at the company. So, I really like having a role in that. I enjoy plugging into what people need here and what's specific to this company.
Understanding the different cultures that exist at every company has been totally different from one another, and I really like getting visibility into that.
