If you're going out with one angle and one client, and it's been really hard to get coverage for them, you have to get creative and think of out-of-the-box ideas.

Often, when you get rejections, you can turn that "no" into a "yes." It's about always having backups. If one angle isn't a fit, you can come back with alternative ideas.

This continues the conversation and keeps the client top of mind. It's also about doing your research and always thinking of different ways.

You usually need to be a few steps ahead. Anticipating a response can lead you to have backup options ready if your initial approach doesn't work.
