What do you enjoy most about being in your role?
The people I get to meet, the stories I get to tell, the lives I get to save, doing what I love. It could be as simple as making someone's day better because suddenly there's no rain, and they have a huge soccer tournament.
Knowing I'm giving them good news, or when it's not so good, knowing people trust me. I've built this trust and these relationships over the years in my profession, so people know they can come to me and they'll get the truth and the facts.
Knowing that no matter how bad it might be, I have many opportunities to inspire. I can speak to my younger self, saying, "Hey, I was in your shoes once. I remember what that was like, and now here I am."
It's a privilege to do what I do, to be a public figure on TV and social media, and to influence people with the hard work I put in every single day. I definitely think it's about leaving a legacy.
Whether it's my personal legacy or someone else's story that I get to tell and that will be documented and live forever, just knowing I'm making a difference every single day, I think that's my favorite part.
