What are your main responsibilities within your current role as senior project manager?

My main responsibilities involve working with the executive leadership, specifically the CEO and CCO. The Chief Creative Officer and the Chief Executive Officer are who I primarily work with on organizational objectives.

This includes a lot of strategy planning, like deciding where the company should go in the next three to five years and defining the long-term vision. Once we establish these long-term visions or objectives, I help break down the logistics planning.

My role is to figure out what we need to focus on this year to achieve those three or five-year goals. I identify the high-level initiatives and objectives, along with the key results we're aiming for.

Then, I further break this down into planning what resources are needed and how we can achieve our goals. This is essentially my day-to-day work.

Currently, we're working on a rebrand for our main health and wellness supplement brand. We plan to rebrand and re-platform it onto Shopify, one of the largest e-commerce platforms.

This move is intended to expand our current age demographic. Ultimately, our long-term vision is to evolve into more of a health and lifestyle brand and create a house of brands. This rebrand and re-platforming is our first major objective for the year.

Concurrently, I also help with the organization's infrastructure. The company has doubled in size very quickly, growing from 11 people when I started last August to 26 now.

This rapid growth has presented some challenges. I consider 2024 a "building block year" because when I joined, there were only five or six people managing everything. This limited infrastructure building, establishing operating procedures, and improving efficiencies.

My objective is to identify weaknesses and roadblocks, find solutions, and determine what needs to be documented. These tasks fall within my purview.

I also focus on keeping everything running smoothly, so to speak. We're not only rebranding and re-platforming, but we're also a profitable company that needs to continue moving forward.

Even while working on these high-level strategic objectives, we still have the day-to-day e-commerce business to manage. I balance this by managing staff and resources, ensuring everyone is set up for success, and identifying areas needing support. My main responsibilities are assessing, planning, and driving progress.
