What have you learned about this role that you wish you had known before you ever started?
Here's the cleaned transcript:
One thing I definitely wish someone had told me before I jumped into the Creator space, specifically the Creator economy, is that your actions speak louder than words. Trust is a big thing that's built through how you carry yourself as a professional.
I think in our industry, there are a lot of people who want to be a part of it. For those interested in entering the Creator economy, you have to carry yourself with a level of professionalism that goes above and beyond.
This was something I didn't recognize when I first started. While it's fun business, it is serious business at the end of the day and should be taken seriously.
If I could go back, I'd tell myself to have fun and make strong partnerships. Build trust, but take it very seriously and don't discredit anyone. There's no such thing as a bad meeting.
You never know where one person might be today and where they'll end up tomorrow. Always go into everything with an open mind. Take every meeting, even if it's just a brief introductory one. Don't discredit anyone because you never know where they'll be in the future.
