What does a day in the life of your role look like?
That's a great question. Working in Creative Partnerships, especially with content creators, means every day can be very different. Their days are also very different.
My approach to my job, especially from a Partnerships lens, is to meet them where they are. Sometimes that's in a great place, and sometimes that's in a frantic place. So, my day can be pretty different.
I have my morning calls with my team. Obviously, I want to make sure I'm up to speed on how our product is growing and building. I also take calls with external partners and people who work at creator agencies representing creators.
I keep them updated on what we're doing, so a lot of external outreach is a big part of my job. But then there are days where I have to put out fires. Being in a tech startup, I sometimes have to speak to investors, venture capitalists, and private equity firms.
I like to joke that I do a little bit of everything. I think working in the startup space, you have to be ready to jump in and say, "I've never done this before, but I'm going to do it. We're going to get through it."
