What does a day in the life of a director of sales look like?

Despite what everyone thinks, we're not just playing golf all the time. It's primarily task management and figuring out the status and moving things along.

It's a really self-starter kind of situation. If you're not doing anything, you're not going to make any deals or move things towards progress, like getting signatures and execution.

So, it's a lot of meetings, outreach, and making sure things aren't stagnant. Organization is really key for that.

Spend your time on the things that matter most and will have the most output based on your input. Being very conscious of how you spend your time is a key part of being a successful salesperson.
