A Day in the Life of a Head of Growth at 3DNS
A Head of Growth's day at 3DNS varies greatly, but can involve extensive meetings, especially around product releases, sometimes consuming six hours of the day, alongside outbound outreach via email, Twitter, and Discord to secure partnerships, one success being "getting a semi large or medium sized PDR organization to then come and then push our...product launch". Max's role also includes managing international contractors for business development and content creation, and the lucky opportunity to host community livestreams.

What does a day in the life of a Head of Growth look like?
It really depends. For example, if we were going to have a big product release, I would probably have two or three meetings with my marketing team. I love them, but those meetings would last two to three hours each.
So I'd be in meetings for like six hours sometimes a day, and then I would have to do my own work as well. That would involve a lot of outbound emails, outbound Twitter outreach, or outbound Discord connections. I'd be trying to get different partners to be part of our Twitter promotions, our quote tweets, and our retweets.
One of my big successes was getting a semi-large or medium-sized PDR organization to push one of our product launches for Halloween. Then, another big PR Twitter account pushed our thing after that. I got to see the butterfly effect of my work.
It really depends on the day, but I would say it could be a lot of meetings in the morning. Then, I would be working with my contractors who are outside of the US, making sure they're doing business development work or content creation or editing. As well as my own outbound reach for emails.
If I was lucky and it was a Wednesday, then I would get to host a live stream with our community members playing video games. That was always a good time to hang out with them.
