What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
In undergrad, I decided to double major in business management and entrepreneurship because I wanted to start my own business. The entrepreneurship classes definitely left the biggest mark on me.
They really helped me learn the terminology that would allow me to better understand both the micro conditions within a company and the macro conditions of where we were in a company's lifecycle. This was especially helpful when I started working for other employers.
Learning about things like customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, and the typical growth curve of an early-stage startup left some of the biggest marks on me. This knowledge was valuable as I joined an early-stage company, not immediately after graduating, but soon after.
