What is your biggest challenge in your current role?

My biggest challenge in operations is not having much of an operations background; I'm learning as I go. I was previously a customer success manager before moving into my current role.

I excel at customer success, account management, and relationship building. However, there are technical components to operations, like understanding the systems that keep a business running continuously and on autopilot, which I've had to learn on the fly.

The most critical tool I use daily is Salesforce, and I feel I'm only scratching the surface of its capabilities. Salesforce is a leading customer relationship management platform.

Any new graduate entering a tech company, or even other industries, who will work in sales or marketing will likely need to learn Salesforce. It's a large, expensive tool that requires dedicated staff to maintain, and learning to maintain it has been both a joy and frustrating.
