What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
As a small business owner, I'm in charge of everything. This ranges from strategic CEO decisions to cleaning houses and getting them ready to show.
Mostly, I focus on marketing and client service. I also advise clients through the process of buying or selling homes.
There's so much variety in our day-to-day that we have a lot we're responsible for. We don't have any direct bosses, per se. We do have four employees, including a social media manager and a transaction coordinator who handle more of the clerical and social media tasks.
Between Jennifer and I, we're responsible for business development, client service, negotiating, and completing legal paperwork for clients. Pretty much everything associated with a real estate transaction falls on our plate.
