What does a day in the life of a sales manager and senior loan officer look like?

That's a good question. Every day is different; it really depends on what kind of deals are going on or what I'm focusing on for that week or month.

In general, I start my day by answering emails, like a lot of people do. We work pretty much all off of email and phone, but everything is really done through email.

So, I get through those emails and make calls to my partners who refer me business, and to different clients calling in. I make sure deals are flowing and get different documentation from different people. A lot of things are thrown at you every day, but every day is a little bit different.

Some days, if I don't have a lot of deals going on that week, I focus on sales and getting people in the door. Other days, I work on calling past clients to check in on them and make sure everything is going well with their homes and properties.

Some days, I'm just focusing on getting a mortgage in process to the next step. There are a lot of steps in a mortgage process, so we have to make sure things are done quickly, efficiently, and on time.

Every day is a little bit different, but it all focuses on sales. It's also about making sure my team is doing what they need to do to get things done and ensuring my clients have the best experience possible.
