What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
As I stated before, we are a staffing company. I run the operations department, which means I manage four different teams.
We have a supply team that adds more people to the marketplace, and a staffing team that assigns those people to jobs. A payments team handles paying individuals after their shifts, and a compliance team ensures we adhere to all laws.
On top of managing those teams, I also handle all the company's strategy. This includes where we focus our efforts, which cities and clients we target, our pricing strategies, and how we can improve efficiency.
Lastly, I am also the quasi product manager for my company. I work with our technical teams to develop products, make changes to our app and website, and manage different internal tools we've built. I lead all those initiatives, planning, and related tasks.
