What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
My firm is a very unique place, and it starts with our mission: improving lives through architecture. This means improving lives for our clients, obviously, but also for ourselves as people doing hard but satisfying work.
We aim to do this in a way that is pleasant and collaborative. We also focus on improving the lives of our communities.
The firm I work at specializes in higher education and culture work, which I believe has some level of global benefit. This was a priority for me in terms of the type of architecture I wanted to be involved with.
Furthermore, my firm has a very strong sustainability priority. We make sure that the buildings we put on this planet help rather than hurt it.
