Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Please include any internships or jobs you had before your current role.

Yes. I had a different career path to get here at Groupie. I was a professional athlete before I even joined EOP, which is where I got my undergrad and master's degrees.

I was part of the national team for many years. Mostly, my summers were spent practicing and playing in international tournaments like the Pan American Games and World Championships.

During my senior year at UOP and then while doing my master's, I participated in the student investment fund for a year and a half. It started with a million-dollar endowment at UOP. Students were responsible for one of the sectors of the financial markets.

We wrote reports and recommended stocks, so it basically worked as a real-life fund. This provided a lot of practical experience. We got to travel to New York, attend conferences, and gain valuable internship experience.

Right after graduating with my master's, I joined Groupie. I've been at Groupie for two years now, and it's been a great experience so far.

While doing my master's, and just before starting the student investment fund, I knew I wanted to be involved in the finance world. My undergrad was in business economics. I knew I didn't want to work with research for the government.

So, I decided to use my economic background to get involved in the financial markets. Groupie worked perfectly with the real estate world. That's it.
