Transcript

What does a day in the life of a marketing specialist look like?

I usually start my day around 8:00 AM and begin by checking my emails. I usually have the day mapped out before, so I know what projects I'm going to work on for the day, what articles, and interviews I have.

I'll just follow that because my mornings can get pretty busy. Since my focus is mainly on content creation, sometimes I don't have a ton of meetings. So some days I'll just spend my time editing videos, writing articles, and creating social media posts throughout the day.

Then I'll take an hour lunch break, typically from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. But since it's pretty flexible, I can choose when that is. I'll then sprinkle in some of the other tasks that I mentioned before, like working on the website, SEO, writing articles and blogs, working with project managers to collect photos and videos, and helping my boss with sales process emails.

I usually clock out around 5:00 PM. Fridays tend to be a little more flexible at my company, which is nice. So sometimes I'll get out around 2:00 PM or 3:00 PM, depending.
