What is one lesson that you've learned that's proven to be really significant in your career?

Network with the people around you and make sure that you have supporters, sponsors, and people who know your goals and can influence those goals and outcomes. Reply to your emails right away.

I would just say communicate. Communication, I think, is huge overall. That goes with the networking piece. Making sure that you set aside time to respond to people, to proactively reach out to people, introduce yourself, and say hi at the coffee cooler or the water cooler.

I think those are the biggest things: network and communicate well.
