What does a day in the life of a project manager look like?
Every day is a little bit different. It's kind of whatever gets thrown at you for the different projects.
I manage upwards of 10 to 15 projects at a time. It's really whatever is coming in from our client standpoint.
What do they need? Do they need a quote for the day? Are we making sure something's being delivered on time, or resolving any issues that they have?
Overall, it's just a lot of communication: phone, email, and meetings to make sure that things are progressing as they should be.
Separately, I'm managing the financial standpoint for the projects. I'm making sure that the billings are going out correctly and on time, and that they're being closed out at what the projected dollars were.
