Transcript

What are your main responsibilities within your current role?

Right now, I work a lot with school leaders and their managers to design professional learning sessions for principals, assistant principals, and other roles throughout the network. I also work with members of my team to create scopes of learning and competencies for each role. This ensures the learning we're designing is planned to meet the needs of that role.

Finally, there's a lot of project planning and logistics involved. For example, every year I plan a five-day, in-person professional development retreat for about 150 school leaders. There's a lot that goes into that, from designing the sessions to things like ordering shirts, getting catering, and arranging for tables and manual labor. So, there are many different types of work I do.
