What do you enjoy most about being in your role?
Mentoring people is always the highlight of my job. I particularly enjoy bringing on new team members and making sure they feel confident and comfortable in their work.
I also support people as they grow on my own teams, as well as on affiliate teams. Ensuring they are meeting their career goals is very rewarding. When you can help someone do the thing that they want to do, there is truly no better feeling in my job.
Another aspect I really enjoy is doing "big bold ideas" sessions, particularly with clients or leadership. This involves defining the goal and vision you truly want to achieve. We can worry about the details later.
Helping people get to that ultimate goal is really satisfying and fascinating. You learn what others prioritize and what they want to see in their programs. This knowledge empowers you to help them succeed.
Sharing in that dream and working together to achieve it has been a significant highlight of this job and my career.
