What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
A big piece of it is marketing. I love it when we can get this beautifully coordinated campaign that hits all the different channels. The timing works out where we can get people warmed up, then give them the message, and then move them to a call to action. They're seeing it in a variety of different places, not just in one place. It's really cool to have this beautifully orchestrated campaign.
I also love being able to help change behavior for the positive. We can do something, create a video, or whatever it might be that's going to have people be moved and impacted in a certain way. That's going to have them say, "Oh my gosh, this place is the place I need to work for." Or, "Whoa, I didn't realize it was possible to have that much creativity in an engineering role."
Or, "They're really clear about this part of their values, and that's not for me, and I should probably not work at this company." Whatever it is, being able to shift people's thought process is really fun to be on the side of the creation of that.
Then, I just love when my team members are doing really good work. They're growing, they're getting better, and then they go off to do something really amazing and cool that's bigger and better than they would have if I hadn't been involved, which is the best.
