What does a day in the life of a communications and HR manager look like?
I wish I could say it was one thing, but it changes constantly. No day is really ever the same. I come in, look at my email, and then either pick up on priority projects I've already been working on, or wait to hear what the next thing is added to my plate from my boss.
Oftentimes, two or three things will come down the pike. Yesterday, I was given a couple of additional tasks to add to my plate. These included developing a job description and managing some requirements related to our board.
So you never know. It's one of the things I like about this job: it's not the same old, same old. It gives me a lot of satisfaction that way. I like to keep busy.
