What does a day in the life of an assistant operations coordinator look like?
For me, the beginning of my day is a lot of catching up on emails. I usually have emails for payments we've received, receipts that need to be saved, or new onboarding information. All of that is sent to my email, so a lot of my morning is spent doing that.
Another thing I do is track our expenses with our government contracts. I have notifications set up for myself once a week to check through those invoices. I make sure things are recorded properly, and that way we're communicating with our contracts appropriately.
I also check our credit cards. The afternoon is more the creative marketing side, where I am finalizing details for our events or scheduling and posting things to social media. So, mornings are operations and billing, and the afternoon is more the marketing side of things.
