What did you do in your undergrad to set you up for success in your career?

I chased every single opportunity that presented itself, even if it took away from my social life or pushed me out of my comfort zone. I also sought out a mentor, one of my professors, who recognized my passion and drive.

He used that to help me hone in on my skillset, which also made a number of game-changing introductions for me. He really helped guide me in what was next after graduation, which can be a really scary time.

To have someone who's been through it, succeeded in that industry, and has critical connections can really help so much. It can boost your confidence, improve your networking, and set you up for success.

I truly believe that connections are everything. I encourage everyone to always remember that and to seek out a mentor if you can.
