What is your biggest challenge in your current role?

My biggest challenge is definitely time management on a day-to-day basis. There's no real nine-to-five punch-in, punch-out with a startup organization.

I typically work seven days a week, even if it's just for an hour or two on the weekends. Part of that is the demands of the startup leadership position, but it's also my own desire to always be making progress and not feel like I'm wasting time.

I realize, and I'll tell anyone in a similar position, that you have to set boundaries and find a way to enjoy work-life balance. Of course, that's easier said than done because fundraising never pauses and startups never sleep.

It's all about finding that happy medium, that perfect balance, while understanding that as a founder, or anyone working for a startup, there's a lot of work to do. You're going to feel pressure to always be making progress.
