What skills are most important for a job like yours?
You really need to know how to work with people. I think you really need to have a high level of people skills. Learn how to talk to people, but also, most importantly, learn how to listen.
Try to ask the right questions to get the right responses, and really learn to listen and understand what people are going through. Because if you can bridge that gap between what people are really asking from you, you'll be a whole lot more successful.
