Who thrives in industry?
How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
One of the nice things about the EdTech space is there isn't just one archetype of a person who will do well or who's needed. There are many different roles needed in EdTech that go beyond being a developer or working in a more traditional tech background job.
We need content developers and specialists who have worked in the education space. Depending on the company, there are many different roles in EdTech where you can have a meaningful impact.
However, one thing that brings people together is that those working in EdTech are generally interested in education in some way. They want to improve it or think about its future state. I think that's a common thread.
