What skills are most important for a job like yours?
A couple of things come to mind. Some of the first ones are just being organized and detail-oriented.
A big part of my role is planning trips to campuses, information sessions, career fairs, and coffee chats. Being organized and having all the details ready before these trips is super important, especially since I typically bring a couple of people from our client services team with me.
Along with that is time management and prioritization. My day is split between many different types of tasks. Being able to prioritize well is key to making sure everything gets done because there are usually a lot of different things happening at once.
Communication is also super important in recruiting. You're talking to people all day, so it's definitely important to be a clear communicator and a warm presence for candidates as they go through the process.
